Scary as the Truth May Be
Scary as the Truth May Be
She sees us through her keyhole
and knows we’re looking back;
a train goes on true-north a ways
and then returns on track.
The door that has a peephole
can be seen through both sides;
she says she’s watching, I believe;
believe this two-way glides.
For, what you see can see you too
and has its found and vantaged view;
there’s nowhere dark enough to hide;
we’re all in fishbowls deep inside.
