"Runes of Ruin"
To hear all of the words that these
fortune-tellers say, you'd be hard-pressed to think that any of us
will open up our eyes to see
another day
Because, cold winds are blowing,
and, utterances from so long ago
are being opened
Children are being fed with knowledge,
but, in the dark, and, against the wall
they're still agonizingly seeking-out
for and groping
Against insanity they're hoping; on a
tightrope we're all walking
Just need an end; a remedy
Need a cause to set it all free...
Just need the moon to turn into blood,
and, extinguish the sun
Bring it all around; reset it all back
again
Someone hit the default switch to let
it all start again
Cause, this shits to far gone now; all
that's on the horizon is portents and
calamities
I won't say that tides rising, and, stars
from the skies falling, are proof that
prophets words are worth their salt...
But, what we need -
Is the moon to turn to blood; and,
extinguish the sun
Let what has been spoken, have its
turn
