This can't be it

Is this it?
Can this be life?
Where another person can tear thru your skin
Turn around and stitch you up
Only to do the same shit again
Damn this thing called life is tough
Man I wasn't ready!
This can't be it....
Oh suck it up is what they tell us
But nah, We can't because this here
THIS RIGHT HERE isn't LIFE
When do we begin to live?
When can we finally breath?
We are tired of braking
It's finally time we accelerate
And start living
But we only exist
We have not been seen
We are not able to be heard
We can't even be desired
Why you ask?
Because the color of our skin!!
To some to see us succeed
That there is the ultimate sin
But the color of My skin isn't the only thing that defines me!
Look here and explore my history
And then you can see more than just the nigger in me.
Because I am more that just a nigger you see
I am a father, son, brother, and educated
My service record is decorated
And thou this country still have a long way to go I'm here and I am dedicated.
