Food for Thought

This is food for thought or so you thought
When in fact it's soul food that's never been bought
To your dome and the midline for you to gestate
Let it digest slow give it time to marinate
But that's just a suggestion to avoid indigestion
Trust your instincts avoid the hesitation
These words are truth and they're not here to deceive you
With a goal to turn your head from a non to a believer
But if you take what I say as criticism
Then that's just indicative of your level of solipsism
Cause times a wasting like my girl Badu said
Some believe and speak that you're a long time dead
But I don't buy that ideology to me it makes no sense
Come back have another go reach that ascent
That's ascension of soul what your creator meant
Some will hear these words but not interpret what's sent
So do I need to dumb it down and write in simple sentence structure?
One syllable words and maybe then it will touch you
So I will say this just one time
For you to wake up and see what's down the line
Cause the point of these words is to help free your mind
And for you know that you were born one of a kind

Go study ancient philosophies then you'll get to know

And plant in the minds of the ignorant so they can let go
Of the left brain prison institutionalised beliefs
