pale blue sky
faded pavement
sun in my eyes
visual abatement
clouds surrounding
interrupt the shine
feeling the heat
come off my covered eyes
fading in
fading out
conscious of sound
inside, a silent shout
sense of movement
no sense of direction
holding on to awareness
fleeting view of reflection
lack of noise
startles my mind
destination ahead
somnolence behind

The feel of the writing here is gentle, but the content is quite alarming once you clue into what's happening: exactly what it feels like to micro-sleep while driving. Nicely done.
