A Tragic Aftermath
In this torturing night I gather the scraps of hope
Rearrange the pieces trying to fix an impossible jigsaw
It’s endless
No matter how much I try
These pieces will never fit together
I feel as if all hell has broken loose as grief consumes me
I cannot believe this
What took years to build has been torn in seconds
My masterpiece is ruined and I’m stood here
With this shattered mirror looking at a sight which disgusts me
I cannot take this any longer
I’m wondering whether it was worth it
Losing myself in the hands of another
My body stranded in a burning desert
Left to the mercy of these vultures
Tearing my live flesh apart
I’d rather burn to death in the flames of these lying vows
Than face the agony of reliving this terror everyday
Dying seems so sweet in a life so bitter
But the only thing I can mourn for
Is the death of you and me
Rearrange the pieces trying to fix an impossible jigsaw
It’s endless
No matter how much I try
These pieces will never fit together
I feel as if all hell has broken loose as grief consumes me
I cannot believe this
What took years to build has been torn in seconds
My masterpiece is ruined and I’m stood here
With this shattered mirror looking at a sight which disgusts me
I cannot take this any longer
I’m wondering whether it was worth it
Losing myself in the hands of another
My body stranded in a burning desert
Left to the mercy of these vultures
Tearing my live flesh apart
I’d rather burn to death in the flames of these lying vows
Than face the agony of reliving this terror everyday
Dying seems so sweet in a life so bitter
But the only thing I can mourn for
Is the death of you and me
