Why?

I find myself in the spotlight of life but my backdrop is grey
Things and people are temporary
No hi or hello's anymore but I'll look you up on Facebook though and see how many likes you got on your last photo before I slide in your direct messages
Did you get the message?
Nothing is the same... Too many just here for fame and if you aren't you are considered lame... Now how am I supposed to tame this inner anger in me when you curse me out for asking your name...
Your body doesn't look like this, your smile isn't bright enough your personality doesn't match the real you... What's really real now days... Scared to be natural... When that was the intent for our being... We've forgotten our beginning and created our own so no point of history and morals... Too busy with selfies and wanting to be immortals while on this earth...  Signs are in music but we just listen... Never paying attention to the true messages... They aren't coded no IT's needed to crack these to in tune with the beat but never took in the words to process what's really playing in the grey background... Just too much going on... I don't understand why I am here writing this when only a select few will put the pieces together from this chopped up paragraph that I call poetry to make things flow into the river of understanding... Maybe one day maybe one day... We all shall just understand the why... Our personal why... Our loved ones why... Why love lives and then dies... Just why... Idk I just have unlimited statements and questions that no one has the answer too... Why? Because I hope that someone will understand and be real enough to give the answers and the sad part is there is no right one
