- - - WHEN DARKNESS COMES - - -
Nocturnal daemon writhe through me
When darkness comes
In love and war, in death and peace
Shadows coalesce to liberate me
When darkness comes
In hate of birth, in death and peace
The crescent moon shines opaque
In winter throes when forests quake
Lovely Luna cast her blessing
When gorgons kiss and sirens sing
What stirs in night is less than me
Upon my path 'tween twisted trees
I lead you to the darkest stair
To grips of torment and despair
Nocturnal daemon writhe through me
When darkness comes
In love and war, in death and peace
Shadows coalesce to liberate me
When darkness comes
In hate of birth, in death and peace
Unburdened without the dawn
Chalice is full without the son
I will exist so come what may
Immortality or a grave
Proserpina, kneels before me
Darkness refined in misery
Sacrifice by obsidian
Imbued with the blackest sin
Nocturnal daemon writhe through me
When darkness comes
In love and war, in death and peace
Shadows coalesce to liberate me
When darkness comes
In hate of birth, in death and peace
I exist as a snake
Draped across a goddess
My fangs deep in her flesh
Sucking from her bosom
Her life is mine to take
As her only son
Her king of twilight
Smother me with kisses
Laced with hints of nightshade
Her vessel drips with sin
Moist, eager and wanting
She is but mine to take
As her disciple
Her king of twilight
