A Thousand Words

A thousand words,
A thousand kisses
Could not pull together the pieces of me
That you wasted no time to prise apart
As I lay, trapped in a fathomless trance,
Your soft murmurings filled my head,
Alive and dead, stuck inbetween
Not even God's caring hands could undo what you did.
To rip the esscence of life from a frail, mortal body
Would be to dream a demon's dream.
If you were to see the twisted soul you left behind
Would any human emotions show?
