Fight Before the World Falls
I've got a fake sense of establishment,
I'm running in circles to fight a disease,
that hasn't even taken over me.
So here I sit, cursing my government,
They're taking my mind,
Leaving only stress behind.
I've got words on my tongue tonight.
But with a mouth clamped tight,
I'll learn I'm never right.
Nothing is as is really seems,
Eyes lie - and so do mothers.
Trust is not for any other.
But who? Who deserves to be the one?
A trophy for anyone?
Just as long as they listen?
But I'm not speaking tonight.
I'm not speaking tonight.
I'm not speaking tonight.
Breathe in cyanide,
Maybe it'd be less painful behind my eyes.
Away from wandering goodbyes.
I'm escaping reality,
Fantasy becoming my world,
So I don't have to say a word.
Should I run away now,
And never look back?
I think I'd like that.
