Catwoman's Tranquil Morning

 
The day started so well. The sunlight shone into the window,making little patchworks on the blue carpet. The leaves of the trees outside were gently ruffled by a passing breeze. The smell of blooms permeated through the window.

But the tranquil scenario did not last. It was shattered by loud bangs at the door which seemed to actually shake the whole house.

"Hold on will you!" she shouted jumping up from the couch in a hurry. She didn't want the door to be pushed down.

She opened the door to a fuming green man whose body was almost as big as her house.
"Hulk! What the F...flippins!" she exclaimed.

"Calm down will you! Your green bulk is giving my lawn a bad reputation! Bruce...tuck it in. Come on"

A few minutes later Hulk calmed down and became Bruce. He looked at Selina and smiled.

"I like you better this way. When you are Catwoman you are awful," Bruce said wearily looking at Selina and flopping down on her couch.

Selina giggled and asked the half naked weary doctor why he came to her house in his hulking mutation.

"I saw your house from the distant and instinctively I knew you would be home. I just need someone to talk to. Its Diana. She makes me so mad, I see red. I mean green and when that happens, I just want to smash everything in my path."

Catwoman aka Selina laughed.

"She will always be the snooty little lady. You know that. She is Princess Diana of Themyscira after all when she is not playing Wonder Woman. But what did she do to make you so mad?" she asked.

"She fired her wonder ray at my garden gnomes! I worked so hard to make them look good and natural on my lawn. It took me years to make them just so, you know! And you should see them now...mere charred effigies of nothing describable!"

Selina choked back laughter as she noticed David aka the Hulk's skin turn subtly green.

"I am sure she didn't do that on purpose," she said.

Bruce looked at his knobbly knees and mumbled, " No...she was pursuing this very fast little ...animal. Sonic the Hedgehog. She kept on zapping it...him and missing! All my garden gnomes were destroyed except for that rolling little ...whatever it was."

Selina could not longer keep her laughter in and she burst out into a long laughter but soon ended it with a yowl as David turned.

She looked ruefully at her sitting room as Hulk burst out into a roar and destroyed half her house.

He stomped away still roaring as she calculated the damage.  She just hoped the bill to  Dr.Bruce Banner would not cause another destructive roar.
