Your rage, My pain
Your Rage, My Pain
9 months you carried me into this world
To be your first born baby girl
Another journey into motherhood
Or another mistake in a plan thats unfurled
Testing your patience, as you failed to help evolve mine
Seeing you within me
But yet myself, i feel you deny
The word says you will love me, but your actions Show pure hate
Breaking any relationship i form so that I cant relate
Leaving me feeling unsure and uncertain
And questioning what have I done that was so wrong
Constantly wondering am i wanted
Or do you regret the day that I was born
But even through your diagnosis, we both knew I would always be there
While all along the revelations of your truths, were often to much to bear
So now the past shows a scared little girl, who never learned how to receive true love
And now a damaged adult, who is determined to make it on her own.
