I felt dead inside
For so long
Torn down
By the one I thought I loved
Extinguished me to the very core
Then came the day
I saw you from across the room
With your long mane
Your eyes caught mine
ignited a flame
I'm still damaged
I cant promise I won't break
But at least
I can say
I am no longer dead inside
Thank you for reminding me
I'm alive
