In the night while you're fast asleep
Ominous spirits awaken and begin to creep
Forces from an evil realm
Use the dark to take the helm
Shadows hover above your head
Filling your dreams with visions of dread
You shiver as they gently trace
Icy fingers across your sleeping face
Closing in, stealing your breath
Will they choose you to join them in death,
Leaving behind your empty shell
As they drag your sleeping soul to hell?
If you manage to survive the night
They'll retreat with the morning light
But remember when you're sound asleep
Ominous spirits will return to creep
