**DEDICATED TO THE FIVE LIVES THAT WERE TAKEN IN THE LA LOCHE SCHOOL SHOOTING IN LA LOCHE, SASKATCHEWAN**
A Province, by violence like this never kissed,
Virgin to its horrid fucking lips.
Of guns firing in school.
Turning an afternoon of education into a
Lifetime of painful mourning.
Innocent and unsuspecting were the lives taken, teachers and students now rise to
Heaven
All because of the anger that raged in he who
Played
God.
Why must this shit happen
In my Province of Saskatchewan?
Why must 5 lives be sent to Heaven?
Why couldn't he just talk to someone?
Why were the signs not seen?
Was there signs to be seen?
Two minutes of silence for a northern town called
La Loche.
Prayers prayed and tears cried,
Mourning those who have died.
Questions asked to the place where the rage boiled over.
A Province, by violence like this never kissed,

While heads and faces lowered to witness

I didn't realize our neighbors in the North we're dealing with gun violence as well. One thing about this issue- there is never a shortage of people who think they have solutions. I just hope all sides can agree to improve mental health access.

There's a lot of shootings and gun - related deaths where I'm from, but this is the first time my Province has ever had a school shooting.
