I often wish I could write long poems effectively, but if I'm being honest, I usually skip to the end of long poems because that's where the clever phrasing and ultimate idea usually resides. I'm so attached to the idea of keeping it ridiculously simple- what's the idea, what's the double meaning, what's the image.
