A priori deception

Notice the minor flaw of reason and a multitude of hypotheses
Presenting a catastrophic yet logical pathway to follow
Find the fashion that suits you best, it's a self-devouring fixed impulse
The aftermath is when we have a real a priori deception
Reveal this common knowledge, yet save the precious empiricism
Invent your reasons and look soundly upon insanity
...like laughing at a monkey in a man suit
The act may be self-contradictory
But state it rhetorically and it sounds like benevolence
Come to find out peace of mind isn't at all superficial
Jesus claims to be my savior right before he kicks me in the head

So the question is...

If you consider your faith to be a rational belief
Will you ever realize that unjustified doubts are conventional?
