Never Too Late
It’s never too late
to leave it all behind,
to walk away from your own life,
to leave 'why' undefined.
It’s never too late
to see how you were blind;
oblivious to how the knife
towards your throat did shine.
It’s never too late
to let yourself unwind,
to forget about your pain and strife
and how you were confined.
It’s never too late
for our love to be entwined,
for me to be your loving wife;
If only you’ll be mine.
to leave it all behind,
to walk away from your own life,
to leave 'why' undefined.
It’s never too late
to see how you were blind;
oblivious to how the knife
towards your throat did shine.
It’s never too late
to let yourself unwind,
to forget about your pain and strife
and how you were confined.
It’s never too late
for our love to be entwined,
for me to be your loving wife;
If only you’ll be mine.
