I wanted to reveal more of myself…
Like Francis, to stand naked, stripped…
To lay down these useless skins…
To give up these unnecessary treasures…
But there is no space now…
I wanted to reveal more of myself…
But now would be a lie...
For truth is in the moment…
And this moment is not true…
It would force you to see…

For now your eyes have seen…
For now your ears have heard…
For now these words are sufficient…
For now let us be sanctified…

Thank you, my sonnets tend to be like sing-songy plays at the language... I wanted this to be much more like a plain-song intoned offerings from my childhood in high church...
