RUSSIA is VIOLATING the ABM Treaty, and NOT ABIDING by the Doctrine of M.A.D.

The ABM Treaty of 1973 allows Russia and America to each have 200 Anti-Ballistic Missiles.  
So basically the ABM Treaty bans any nationwide ABM system of thousands of ABMs.  
But Russia, ruthless Russia, has gone ahead anyway and built 2,600 Anti-Ballistic Missiles,  
Plus 13 LPARs aka "battle management stations" that go along with their massive ABM system.  
Why is this important, EXISTENTIALLY important to America and Western Europe (and the world).  
 
America and Russia have both built enormous arsenals of offensive missiles,  
Thousands of nuclear missiles with which to bomb the other side.  
But BOTH sides are supposed to REFRAIN from building DEFENSIVE missiles (ABMs).  
The concept is that by BOTH sides being totally VULNERABLE to nuclear attack,  
Neither side will attack the other.For it would be pure SUICIDE to do so.  
This doctrine is summed up as "MUTUAL ASSURED DESTRUCTION" or MAD for short.  
 
By Russia violating the BAN on a nationwide ABM (interceptor) system,  
They are trying to prevent the "assured destruction" of nuclear war from being mutual.  
Which means what? RUSSIA THINKS IT CAN WIN NUCLEAR WAR !!!!!  
It's like this:(1)Russia bombs our underground ICBM silos  
(housing our InterContinental Ballistic Missiles),  
Plus our Strategic Bomber bases(They are no longer "on alert.")  
Plus Russia bombs our ports where a third of our Boomer submarines are.  
This means about HALF of our nuclear arsenal gets destroyed at the outset.  
 
(2)Our 6 ballistic missile subs at sea fire their SLBMs  
for a total of only 1008 warheads heading toward Russia.  
Russia fires 2 interceptor missiles at each incoming US warhead,  
using up only 2,016 Russian ABMs of their total number of 2,600 ABMs.  
In short, Russia shoots down the second half of our retaliatory arsenal !!  
Russia's nationwide ABM system makes the difference,  
Russia does the so-called "impossible," Russia WINS nuclear war !!  
 
America's very EXISTENCE as a superpower,  
or even as an ordinary nation is at stake here !!!  
Russia's ABM system is a THREAT to America's  
very existence, so why does our gov't ignore it??!!  
Why do our leaders, news media, military close their eyes  
to Russia's NATIONWIDE ABM system ??!!  
 
Answer:(1) Not only has the Kremlin, by ending  
the Cold War, etc, tricked us into disarming,  
(2)Not only has the Kremlin built a nationwide ABM  
in total violation of the BAN on ABMs(above 200),  
(3)The Kremlin has tricked us into discounting  
Russian ABMs as worthless, "1970s technology,"  
So unsophisticated, even crude, that we can safely ignore their existence.  
All 3 actions are major achievements, but in each case we have  
foolishly, needlessly,cooperated with our own would-be executioner.  
Number 3 is the most shameful one, for the lie involved is so OBVIOUS !!  
There's no excuse for our CIA, etc, believing the following lie:
     "Russian ABMs are no good because  
     each time they were tested, they failed."  
When Russia tested their ABMs, our spy satellites monitored each test.  
Russia would send a dummy warhead across the length of the nation.  
Then an ABM would be fired at it - to bring it down.  
Well, the Russian ABMs failed every single time.  
So our CIA takes those tests at face-value, concluding that Russia's ABMs  
are unable to do the job of intercepting incoming US missile warheads.  
But Angelo Codevilla, writing in Commentary magazine in the 1980s(?)says,  
Of course Russia's ABMs failed. Of course, of course, of course !!  
For Russia knows our spy satellites were monitoring everything.  
The testing was rigged, according to Codevilla and others.  
 
For our CIA - INTELLIGENCE experts - to be stupid enuff  
to take the ABM tests at face-value, it staggers the mind !!!  
A lot of people hate the CIA - but for all the wrong reasons.  
I HATE it myself not because it's evil like leftwingers claim.  
But because the people there are/must be insanely S T U P I D !!!  
 
PS:we haven't reduced down to just 6 subs at sea - yet.  
Right now we have all of a big 8 subs (much too few).  
But WHEN (not if) we do get down to just 6 subs at sea,  
Well, THAT will pose a temptation, the Kremlin will not be able to resist.  
It could come as soon as 2016 - due to the pressure to save money  
That has come in the form of the budgetary SEQUESTRATION.  
When the Pentagon runs out of conventional weapons systems to cut,  
Eventually they will turn to our nuclear arsenal to cut it back, just a little.  
"What harm could reducing our 8 subs to just 6 subs possibly do?
What possible difference can 2 little submarines make?" -  
They are bound to innocently, naively say,
totally ignorant of the threshold they'll be crossing !!!
