Horrific dream
All I remember was closing my eyes for the night,
The next time I opened them I was holding a knife.
My bedroom walls were splattered with crimson red
On the pillow beside me rested a decapitated head.
Suddenly there was a knock on my bedroom door,
I proceeded to get up but bodies covered the floor.
I recognized a few people but didn't recollect names
An axe still rested eerily in one of the victims brains.
I jumped from the loud noise that came from nearby,
The head beside me fell to the floor with a thud and cry.
Something inside my closet was thrashing all around
From behind the door came a ghostly creepy sound .
I looked down at my hand that somehow held a knife,
I slightly remember falling asleep beside my loving wife
I wondered where she was and why blood was on me
I then spotted her with the knife in her chest hilt deep
I went to my wife and tugged the knife from her rib cage
although she appeared to be oddly alive and unscathed,
I turned to the closet door only to see it back closed again
Once more it popped ajar and a sign came out and said;
The end,...
