Finding my soul
Blissfully following me through
Many attempts to end my gloom
I sat rocking at the edge
Waiting for that push
That silent footstep, straight over the edge.
Somehow I ended up gliding,
Whispering your woe
Guiding me, it was my only clue.
You knocked me from my dispenser,
Popping pills like last semester
Exact same frame
But a not so delinquent brain,
My words are now unforeseen
You cast your spell,
Then I woke up,
Fallen from the nightmare.
It wasn't until the deluge night
I witnessed you in your fall delight.
Passenger of a stolen car,
Driver inflamed in a palliative mind
You removed my consciousness
I woke fine, nothing more than a paralysed mind.
The outcome for the others,
Such a peril sight,
My guardian angel.
When will you stop holding on so tight?
Many attempts to end my gloom
I sat rocking at the edge
Waiting for that push
That silent footstep, straight over the edge.
Somehow I ended up gliding,
Whispering your woe
Guiding me, it was my only clue.
You knocked me from my dispenser,
Popping pills like last semester
Exact same frame
But a not so delinquent brain,
My words are now unforeseen
You cast your spell,
Then I woke up,
Fallen from the nightmare.
It wasn't until the deluge night
I witnessed you in your fall delight.
Passenger of a stolen car,
Driver inflamed in a palliative mind
You removed my consciousness
I woke fine, nothing more than a paralysed mind.
The outcome for the others,
Such a peril sight,
My guardian angel.
When will you stop holding on so tight?
