Sometimes self surgery seems the only cure to that ailment. A pithy and great read for such a foul subject. The Feelgood Doctor is not always there for us.

Ah, the joy of hospital waiting lists. Our health system (NZ) is currently educating GP's - very successfully - to minimise the needs of patients and so we actually have diminishing waiting lists. If they get really good at it we'll all be dead and no one will need an operation...
