- - - TRAVELER : ABSOLUTION - - -
Dark regains
A foothold again
Right across the Autumn skies
In fallen eaves where ravens pine
A sword across the thin throats
Of all of those you love the most
Wrath remains
In eons again
This traveler,
On a highway paved with tears and blood
A reveler,
Walking the path of bones of kings and Gods
I am the grief within your cries
The absolution when you die
The traveler,
So weary on this downward spiral
A beggar,
Still better than any false idol
Red again
In chains once again
The blood of the lamb stains me
Let me hang in shivering trees
What could be my alibi?
Find it written in lullabies
Sing again
Let me sleep again
This traveler,
Remains to face another sunrise
A blasphemer
Cursing the creator for his lies
I am the hope within your eyes
The absolution when you die
The traveler,
On paths lined with rendered flesh and bone
A defiler,
Pissing on the dead to a cheerful song
