While the imagery in this is less than appealing (I realize its intent), I do agree with the Black Friday sentiment being consumerism's god.

with each year, the 'holy day' spirit consumes enough of whatever-is-left-of ME to make my precious ME wish to just fckn die & relinqush 'my' identity with sick,sad humanity. I call it Compassionate Contempt.
