Who are you?
I look, I see
I try to perceive
There is something wrong
I don't recognize thee
There is something I know, something familiar
A distinct feature, you have something familial
But I have never seen your actual face
I have never really spoken to that body, face to face
But you feel so dear
You feel so warm, were we once near?
There is something about your smile
You wear them with unease
The same fashion that I adorn
A similar style, that pleases people's eyes
Why haven't we shook hands before
But we have argued and concurred
On topics infinite
Of that, I am sure
But wait, I don't see you now
the room around me is now a fog
A blurred vision has now come around
I try to look, and I try to see
But I don't have a wiping cloth
To wipe the mirror room clean.
I try to perceive
There is something wrong
I don't recognize thee
There is something I know, something familiar
A distinct feature, you have something familial
But I have never seen your actual face
I have never really spoken to that body, face to face
But you feel so dear
You feel so warm, were we once near?
There is something about your smile
You wear them with unease
The same fashion that I adorn
A similar style, that pleases people's eyes
Why haven't we shook hands before
But we have argued and concurred
On topics infinite
Of that, I am sure
But wait, I don't see you now
the room around me is now a fog
A blurred vision has now come around
I try to look, and I try to see
But I don't have a wiping cloth
To wipe the mirror room clean.
