Scorpion Girl
They say life's a battlefield, I say bring it on.
When I'm gone I know I can promise that I'll leave this world the way I want it to be, happy.
Born on a rainy November night,
There were no birds for me that sang
nor was I the most perfect child in the world.
I am however me.
I am a scorpion girl,
born to live,
do or die,
I will fight,
I will survive,
Stay alive till the end of time,
I'm a scorpion girl.
Don't lose grip of who I am.
I may not be easy to love
May not be easy to understand, believe me I've known this all of my life.
Intensity is part of me,
Passion runs deep inside me,
I speak of it like its a second language,
It's as if it's part of my native tongue.
Make no mistake, I have what it takes to show you what my stinger can do if you hurt me.
I am a scorpion girl,
born to live,
do or die,
I will fight,
I will survive,
Stay alive till the end of time.
I'm a scorpion girl.
Be careful with me because I am capable of anything and everything and of any thing.
I am never afraid of taking a stand,
I will go against all odds,
Beat down the walls that barricade me till they fall.
Don't try to keep me from doing what I want,
I can live for myself and not for you.
Do as you please, but I would like to live my life freely.

but honestly I really don't care because it doesn't affect me one bit.

I'm not follower, but I'll follow my own path.
Yes I can be stubborn,
Yes I can a little critical,
Sometimes maybe even cynical,
Get a tad bit emotional
Or
Maybe even just out of control, but I'm not perfect, nobody living on this surface is.
I'm grown enough to admit my mistakes then fix em without leaving them broken.

I kinda figure it was about you because it has some character traits that are evident in some of your other writes. Enjoyed, agree with Dave as far as sounding like a song. To be honest at first I thought you writing a sequel to a previous write.

Well I guess in a way it is a sequel to my other poem which was dedicated to my fellow Scorpios called " The Gift Of A Scorpio" .
Thank you, I appreciate the birthday wish.
I mainly just wrote this about myself and how I associate with my sign a lot because I have most of the traits of a typical Scorpio.
