You chase away my demons,
You turn my darkness into light.
You help me up, when I've fallen,
You give me, the strength to fight.
You wipe away, my silent teardrops,
You make everything alright.
You kiss me softly when I'm sleeping,
You are my angel in the night.

Everything I've ever wanted,
Slipped through, my trembling hands.
I've spent years walking alone,
Across this, cold and barren land.

My heart packed up and left me,
So many years ago.
All that's left of that man,
Is a hollow, empty soul.

I gave up hope of having a family,
I watched with heavy heart.
All the joy and the love,
Tore my empty world apart.
