The Dance(flip on Locodre) Go to his page for Dance with me

Crystals adorned the table,Fine Linens, fancy décor
A gentlemen came to her and said, To you- I must implore
Lovely Lady, take my hand
Trust in my guidance, my leading is grand

He gently pulled her to him, she could feel his heart beating
He said, I promise you this dance-will be one worth repeating
His eyes were glassy, she supposed he may of had too much to drink
But the woman in her craved his words, she longed for him to speak

His hair was dark, his eyes a chestnut brown
His arms were like a gladiator, who'd went too many rounds
She felt safe, like never before
Although there'd been many guests, it was only they on the floor

It was as though, she had lived her whole life by his side
Shared every moment, in his talents-she took pride
She longed to take the pain, he had within him
Wipe away all his tears, if she was only with him

His lead was like, he had done it many times
Like a photo in a  memory, that leaves, but never dies
There were times, she couldn't keep up
Then he said, Taste my wine, drink from my cup

He held her close, held her tight
Underneath the stars of the wolf's moonlight
Time was sweet, like a pastry from a Lotus Flower
The years that passed them by, had only felt like hours

Like a fallen Angel, his lips spilled with promise
And although he had good intentions, she knew he was not honest
In his eyes, she saw light, a promise of a star
She wanted to continue dancing, if even from afar

She held tight to his hand, she never would regret
Though the pain to leave him, had not set in yet
She could always, give him her love
But she knew the dance was ending, the city lights dimmed above

The night began to fade
She felt a cool breeze blow, like she was beneath a shade
One she could feel, yet not see
One more moment of your life, he said. One Last dance with me.

She was in his arms
and kissed him with urgency
She knew letting go, wasnt worth the suffering
