Re. 50 Shades of Pallor
This feels of darkness but perhaps also of something more, I like the ending. Nice piece Vee.

Actually the last stanza is my favorite too, it binds it all together.
And you're not off mark Anon that it is more than what it seems..And i appreciate you reading it :)

Dammit woman! So freakin' peanutbutter&jel-ous over this ink! If only I could write like this.
The way you design your words to float off the paper is mind blowing. A stunningly bleak image.
Love it, Vee!

beware the gatekeeper, who knows the future in its palest shades.

Followed the bread crumbs and boy did I scarf them up.
"Shades of light
infuse the sublime glow
masking shadows in concocted diffusion
Once adored and revered
a sub-particle of a mass macrocosm
sloughed in expansion of overindulgence"
These were my favorite even though the poem in its entirety was fantastic. <3

You may as well rename this piece
"50 shades of brilliance spilled poetically upon the minds of mere mortals!" But then again you total is ok too. Lol...amazing ink my dear! ;)

Rina love this masterful ink and the picture is a beautiful touch..
love these lines..
"Once adored and revered
a sub-particle of a mass macrocosm
sloughed in expansion of overindulgence
Now on the floor, spewed
in pallor mortis of a fine cocktail
dry and shriveled in dismal putrefaction"
paints a picture of once adored to now left to rot darkly and brilliantly inked..
love Brenda

Deep is Vee!!!
This felt like a purge and a awakening... Quite cryptic and has me mulling angles.
To me it feels like losing a light, while searching for more amongst shadows.
Wonderfully Written as Always!!!
( smooth roll)

Hmmmmmmmmmm and hmmmmmmmmmmm and hmmmmmmmm again :) I've read it over and over. I blew up and enhanced the image. There appears to be a couple embracing at the end of the ruined passageway, perhaps demonstrating their love even among the ruins of their outrageous fortune obtained by evil means,,,a deal with the devil who has abandoned them moving on to his next mark. I am intrigued most by this stanza:
"Once adored and revered
a sub-particle of a mass macrocosm
sloughed in expansion of overindulgence"
It speaks to me thus...that this duo, once beloved by many, became too big for their britches due to extreme avarice and all their riches like a shed snake-skin fell leaving them humble and with nothing left but their love for rebuilding.
Bravisima bella Vee!
