lunar propositions
She wants me to dance
breathless
confident
crown the infinite
shades of ego
beyond simplistic
curiosity
beckoning me to believe
her skys aren't always
tremors
from the bluest reflection
of planetary
imagination
watch me sway
bend
and embody poetry
I feel her wake
wax
and wane
forcing me closer
that infantry
starless bite
unapologetic
fundamental
pulse of hip
instilling the pieces of me
that wage internal war
to become
feather born
tedium scars
I bare them in her light
shy
of the crescent
night
but I
try
ocean vestals
sober
for the weary minded
blinded
I
close my eyes
and let the tides
shed this skin of chagrin
insecurity
reconstructed animation
of a repressed kind
the only kind
of mine
she whispers
"There's a storm
an Autumn of vibrato
humming
against your overstimulated
underestimated
heartstrings"
yes
and it means everything to me
to conduct
this illuminated symphony
of raw quintessence
outside for the
birds to
mirror pensively
in the morn
I'll cavort entire operas
as her earthen silhouette
every cycle
if she kisses
the scratches
on my swollen feet
and
just once
cradles me into
a fabled
gentle
promise of sleep
