Ode to my Radio
You make me smile brighter
Than the warmest sunrise
You have been my strength
Reignited the fire in my eyes
You make me cry enough tears
To drown you faster than the deepest sea
You've healed rips in my soul
Breathed life back into me
You make me want to take the house that love built
And burn the son of a bitch to the ground
You get me prepared for war
In case some shit is about to go down
You remind me of lovers
Torture my mind all day
You've reminded me I deserve better
Told me when to walk away
You pick me up when I have fallen
Taught me once again to walk
Then you told me I could fly
Gave me words when I couldn't talk
I wouldn't be me without you
So no matter where I should go
I will gladly be held prisoner
To the freedom of my radio
Than the warmest sunrise
You have been my strength
Reignited the fire in my eyes
You make me cry enough tears
To drown you faster than the deepest sea
You've healed rips in my soul
Breathed life back into me
You make me want to take the house that love built
And burn the son of a bitch to the ground
You get me prepared for war
In case some shit is about to go down
You remind me of lovers
Torture my mind all day
You've reminded me I deserve better
Told me when to walk away
You pick me up when I have fallen
Taught me once again to walk
Then you told me I could fly
Gave me words when I couldn't talk
I wouldn't be me without you
So no matter where I should go
I will gladly be held prisoner
To the freedom of my radio
