It saddens me
to know
that every single
time
you look at a mirror
you only see
your faults
Your smile is
a bit
crooked
your eyes
are not
the stars
you wished for
your nose is big
you are fat
your ears are
funny
your skin just
won't light
like the
other girls
and you walk
like
a duck
Your eyes slide
right past all the beauty
I find in your imperfections
Your flaws are what
make you so irresistible to me.
I want to lick your blemishes
bathe for hours in your faults
I want to kiss the
parts of you
that you've always been ashamed of
You are a masterpiece
A tapestry of scars
and flaws
taints
cracks
that make you

All human
all woman
all mine

This is one of the most
heart touching pieces
my eyes has had pleasure
to drink of.. .
I mean just to know that
such exists, especially
in the midst of a thousand
types of beautiful
just to feel that you are the
one who is 'preferred & loved'
has got to be something
extra'ordinary unto the soul
...a lifting reminder that's
possibilities are real..
