"Living" Arrangement

A sight so sad that can melt your heart
The way things go when families are ripped apart
What can start off as just a heated debate
Can end with the police coming a second too late
What do you do when your mother and father fight?
If she yells too loud he beats her all night
What do you do when your big brother goes to jail?
He's your protector now your life is hell
Your sister has a child out wedlock
And the baby's father is in the second cell block

Every Wednesday she's up at the jail throwin bricks
And on top of all that she's suffering from bulimia
The worst part of it all is your little brother has leukemia 
You feel like your life's over, but you don't know what's in store
All you know is it's too hard and you can't take it anymore
So you get yourself a gun and your about to pull the trigger
Your seconds away from quitting life, when you start to figure
You want to blow your brains out, and just end it all
But if you die and leave the world, what does it really solve?
