The Old Testamental Holidays Have to be FULFILLED

Paul the Apostle claimed that the "festivals"
or holidays in the Law of Moses,
Meaning the first five books of the Bible,
Were only "a SHADOW of coming things
But the Body of Christ"(Colossians 2.16-17).

At that point the sentence ends.
Evidently Paul doesn't finish writing out his thought.
He cuts it short, stopping half-way thru.

Let me paraphrase Paul,
Finishing his thought process for him.
First of All, "the Body of Christ" refers to the CHURCH(Ephesians 1.22-23).
Here's the paraphrase:
"The [Jewish] festivals [in the Law of Moses] were a shadow of future events.
But the FULFILLMENT of each festival will be done by the CHURCH,
Not so much by the Jews and Israel."

Why didn't Paul just say all that?
Well, because he wanted to say
"by the Church [the Body of Christ] AND by Israel"
(For the End Time events really will be fulfilled
by Israel and the Jews, NOT just by the Church alone!)

But throwing Israel in with the Church would confuse people.
So Paul had to simplify things by emphasizing the Church
This amounts to "dumbing down" the truth,
For clarity's sake, a justifying motive.

For example, when the Feast of Tabernacles is fulfilled
by the "harvest" of saved souls being taken to heaven
At the Rapture of (part of) the Church in OCTOBER 2015,
Which event and time is hinted at in Zechariah 14.16,
This will fulfill the theme of Tabernacles, - the agricultural "harvest home"

This will relate to Israel for the Jews will be left without their friend America
