My faults to blame

But if I’m honest
With the mirror’s reflection
If I’m true to what is right

Is what we have never was.
From this point back
It’s been nothing but deceit
False affections we portrayed
To make the absence easier
What we want and what we have
Look nothing alike
Though I know they should.
It never would have worked out
One of a million lies
