Being able to visualize that eclipse with the imagination probably provided more of a thrill than the actual sighting. It was impressive from where I saw it, but not any transformative experience. No "glowing red skinned beauty" but a shadow drifting over the surface with a faintly glowing aurora. But then I didn't have a telescope, so what do I know. Having faith that the moon is so ravishing takes a leap but it's worth it. Your second "Luna Triste" is as good as your first Gahdess. Excellent!
