Small Flower
It hurts when someone is your whole world and you let the stars shine on them before anyone else
But for you, to them, you are merely just a small flower.
Something they love and cherish, maybe
But you still don’t get to have the stars shine on you,
only the wind that passes by sometimes when it has time.
And you can’t beg them to make you their world, no that would be selfish of you
So instead you cry drops of water because you care for them more than they care for you
But you just can’t help yourself and leave because your roots are dug in just a little too deep and you love them just a little too much.
