Ramblings of an old love.
I remember the day I fell into your arms.
My wings to small to hold me up.
I took a leap of faith, no one but you noticed.
You comforted me in your gentle embrace.
You picked me up, after I crashed. You urged me to pick whatever path I wanted.
You showed yourself to me, bearing your heart.
I followed it.
Deeper and deeper into you.
My arms out strecthed I felt your touch.
I was blinded, but I followed you.
You gave me so much.
Showing me only what I was ready for.
Pushing me only when I was ready to be pushed.
Ba-dump ba-dump.
I listened with ears that I didn't know I had.
You and I, what we have is special.
You brought out a part of me, a mirror would never show.
Something I wouldn't see in his blinding grace.
For that I will always be able to look at you in the eyes, and let you feel how much you mean to me.
