Sleep
Maybe if I sleep enough
I'll eventually not wake up
Who really wants to live my day?
There's nothing that's enough
I can't live with this silence
I can't stand the noise
Spending my days staring at the ceiling
Screaming lyrics, every verse
Maybe if I scream enough
I can lose all those words
Scream away ghosts of every other
And, just maybe, I'm sure
If I can manage to sleep long enough
I'll eventually not wake up.
