Short Poems II: A Beautiful Sound
I.
craving sweet release
pushing for more
intensify this place
with sweet child slumber
of hope renewed
and love awakened
II.
carefully place your move
don't misstep the your grove
allow the wind to use
the rain to make a beat
have a sweet plain muse
of nature all around
and I promise you this
you shall see peace
III.
don't burn what you seek
or all will be for naught
no dreams shall be true
no soil will be fertile
if you so choose
you will rule the world
but indeed you shall lose
all which makes you
IV.
composing sweet melody
of life once past
true to your soul
or cloacked in denial
you shall choose
V.
fill the heart with rage
and reason shall abandon
tempered you'll become
impatience shall breed
seep into your words
cause misfortune too
what will you do
when it all runs out
VI.
words rushing forth
to fill the empty night
unveil the shadow
put in the stars
the pen etches forth
blanket for the woes
what choice will you choose
in the end of it all
VII.
tempting as it sounds
her words still incur
a deep longing to see
the clouds in the sky
feel the soft sun
hear the crash of waves
rush forth in freedom
and lay down with your life
craving sweet release
pushing for more
intensify this place
with sweet child slumber
of hope renewed
and love awakened
