Push and Pull
Within eyes of Ice and Thunder,
binding chains torn asunder.
Anger, sadness, pain, woe,
you're here my love so they must go.
Alas for when you must depart,
darkness seeks to shroud my heart.
For when I cease to hear your breath,
a husk I am so much bereft.
Oh the ache is bittersweet,
for joy doth flourish next we meet.
Akin to flames so warm and bright,
which drive cruel demons from the night.
binding chains torn asunder.
Anger, sadness, pain, woe,
you're here my love so they must go.
Alas for when you must depart,
darkness seeks to shroud my heart.
For when I cease to hear your breath,
a husk I am so much bereft.
Oh the ache is bittersweet,
for joy doth flourish next we meet.
Akin to flames so warm and bright,
which drive cruel demons from the night.
