Children are the innocent victims that always seem to be the face of something profoundly tragic instead of something extraordinarily monumental.

Mystery Space Rider, ride on ride on
you were the best amongst the space riders
a brave and gallant defender of the realm
your smile brighter than a neutron star
the warmth of your love radiant and welcoming
I know many hearts have since become hallowed
and many tears has been shed Oh valiant one
the last star fighter of the mighty Mystery Space Riders
whenever I see a shooting star across the moonlit skies
in my mind I imagine a spaceship racing, chasing with
laser blasters firing at the evil one eyed blob aliens
I look up and smile with tears of joy, it is you
Aylan Kurdi in your yellow spacesuit and helmet
I salute you Mystery Space Rider chasing invaders
protecting the earth’s space realm, I salute you
a brave and courageous little boy, the youngest
the brightest, the coolest, the fastest and greatest 
the last Star Fighter of the Mystery Space Riders
