Emotional CLIMAX at the SECOND COMING of Christ
"You are a God who hides Himself," Isaiah says(Isaiah 45.15).
There's less evidence in this world for
God's existence than there should be.
He could offer more than He does.
Why is that? Why does He hold back?
Because if the case for God were obvious,
Then when the Second Coming occurs,
There wouldn't be an overwhelming response,
A change from God's existence being an open question
to joyful certainty - at last!.
But now, because the evidence is so sparse,
The effect of Christ's Appearing(Zechariah 14.7) will be electric,
Like eating a meal on an empty stomach,
Like eating a meal after not eating for days.
It will be like the difference between night and day.
God holding back is for the purpose of damming up,
Storing up, hording data - like blood is horded by the uterus
During sex so that that pent up feeling can give way
to the dam-burst sensation of orgasm.
God holds back the data until the Second Coming
At which point the knowledge of God will flood the world (Isaiah 11.9),
Convulsing the world with joy and celebration,
God wants it to be like an Spiritual orgasm.
"God has a plan for your life," preachers say.
So why not accept that God is writing history His way,
Via us, His pawns, the characters in His novel(or play).
God has a plot for our lives to fit into,
A "story line" if you will.
Russia and the Arabs and the world(under Russia) all
Attacking Israel(Ezekiel 38; Zechariah 14, Daniel 11.41-45),
This sets up Israel as the ultimate underdog
So that the drama, the suspense, can build til
God steps into the picture and saves Israel,
God's sovereignty trumps "free will."

"I know about the war." Does that mean you believe that there will be a Russian Attack like I said?
Please tell me. I find very few who are willing to make up their minds. Most say, I don't know or I hope not.
Since the Bible does say that a dictator will (1)"Make war" which is followed by
(2)his gaining "power over every nation," (Revelation 13.7) doesn't that sound like world war? And isn't world war fairly synonymous with nuclear?
And, yes, please do what you can. Are you away from the big cities? If so, buy a bike. One more thing, it's early October, not early August. I can't claim certainty any more. From now on I'll have to say it's just my "guess." But whenever it does arrive, the devastation will be followed by Russian rule over Europe (NOT America) and for just "5 months"(Revelation 9.5,10). The SHORTNESS is the good part.

You have "2073-2173 Atheists vs God" - that won't come true. For by 2073 the Second Coming will have taken place. So there won't be any more atheists! The main reason there are atheists is this: God (perfect in every way) just existing without an explanation, without being caused, is so improbable that any alternative (such as the universe arising by itself) seems less improbable and therefor relatively probable, reasonable. After all, the universe isn't perfect. Whereas God is perfect (all-knowing, all-powerful, ever-present,etc). You gotta admit, something imperfect (happening by chance) seems easier to accept than total perfection (happening by chance or rather just happening - inexplicably!)
But after the Second Coming occurs, all the objections in the world will mean nothing! For the Appearing of Christ will TRUMP everything else! (And what is the sign that the Second Coming is near? Russian Attack against America! Once the Antichrist takes over the world by bombing America (without the USA bombing back, for Russia destroys our retaliatory arsenal) THAT is the sign that Divine Intervention is at hand. For we read that the purpose of the Second Coming is to "destroy the Wicked One," aka "the Man of Sin" aka "the Son of Destruction" which means The Destroyer(2 Thessalonians 2.3,7-8). And just why is he called the Destroyer? Because he launches nuclear war against the USA in order to gain the whose world(Revelation 13.7). Anybody who launches all-out nuclear war deserves to be called the Destroyer, wouldn't you agree?

Alexander the Great was told that he was a god. So he required his soldiers address him accordingly. His childhood buddy objected. Al put him to death. Then one day in battle Al got wounded. He said to himself. Hey, gods can't get wounded. He realized he wasn't a god, so he regreted executing the buddy that tried to talk sense to him. true story.

Thanks for your interest. Well we made it thru August! So now I take the Feast of Tabernacles differently than i had been doing. Instead of it being the middle event, the middle of 3 events, it has to be the first of the 3 events. Check out my poem, "Hurray, we have more time.." I anticipate the Trib of "5 months" will be October to late Feb. The end point of Purim(late February?) is a good fit! For Haman (read "Esther" it's only 10 chapters) is a real Antichrist prototype.
To clarify, the 3 events are:(1)Russian Attack/the Rapture (2)Christ Appearing, as Israel gets invaded, (3)The Antichrist getting overthrown by Russian troops who have been won over by the Appearing of Christ (as in Acts 9.3.)

I could never reconcile "free will" with "God already knows what you're going to choose". Or does he just keep rewriting per your individual choices? These are all rhetorical, of course. I try not to think too much about it and simply live.

I think God's super-imposing His will over our choices may be a bit like a sailor "tacking" in the face of opposing winds. I mean with a sail boat, if you want to go against the wind you can, by zigging and zagging. That's what i mean by "tacking."
The limits of "free will" are made pretty clear by Christ just running over people, so to speak. I mean that the story of Him meeting two believers "on the road to Emmaus"(Luke 24.13-35) has Him STOPPING them from recognizing Him.He just throws their free will out the window! That seems to be a real exposure of what God can do, a demonstration for us to try to grasp over time. It's probably very rare that God does something so extreme.
