And it's how it was
beginning and end
That kiss
I mean that kiss
when my mind was aglow
alight
aflame
call it what you will
at that moment when your release
did surge alongside mine
quelling this demon voice to silence
with that kiss
till sated
breathless
my demon voice no more to come calling late into the night
for I have a new demon who satisfies me more.
