A Mere Minute
I got home last Monday
A smile on my face
Joy in my heart.
But that didn't last
More than a minute
Now everything is gone
My so-called true love
My trust in family
The happy ass songs
In a mere minute
A "normal" conversation starts
A few simple pictures
Underwear, Skinny dipping, Sex
These all broke me
In under a minute
In few mere minutes
Everything I possibly had
Didn't seem to matter
So I said goodbye
For another fragile minute...
