Letter to God

If I could write a letter to God, I won't ask riches for you coz you’ll be departed from being good. Instead I’ll ask for the goodness of your health for through your strength, you will feed your soul. If I could write a letter to God, I won’t ask for your peace. Instead, I will ask Him to fill your heart with overflowing love to flounce the hate and pour tenderness in your heart. Then you’ll have peace.

If I could write a letter to God, I’d never ask for sorrow to vanish because through your miseries and agony, You’ll find your highest glory. You will never be happy unless you will know how it feels to be lonely. I will not ask to cast away your fears because that fear inside you makes you stronger. Instead may He grant you the courage to make it through your fear.

If I could write a letter to God, I’d never ask to provide you with all your needs coz you will not strive hard achieve what you want. It is in the scarcity that you learn contentment. Perhaps I would ask Him to give you determination and perseverance in heading through the path you want to follow. I will ask Him  to boast your self-confidence to conquer any endeavor that may come your way.

If I could write a letter to God, I’d never ask for a perfect life for you coz you might not need Him anymore. Instead, I will ask Him to use you in His name. I will ask Him to give you the gift of tongue to spread the glory of His words, to proclaim His deeds and share the good news of salvation to everybody. I will ask Him to embrace you with His Holy Spirit to bring hope to the hopeless, to give rest to the weary and to offer new life to lost souls.
