Love Lost

Left empty and alone my mind is free and clear,
 standing tall head held high and strong
No more wondering and wandering thoughts,
 now I know my minds anxiety was caused by whispers from my breaking heart
Time will not heal these wounds of love lost,
 but the pain will lessen and the scars will be a reminder of the family in a whole that's been lost
Moments of heartache I'm sure will come,
 tears held in that want out,
 memories that will haunt my dreams I have no doubt
No more comfort found in the arms of another's touch,
 tainted by visions of unfaithfulness and misguided trust
Once so close I never knew where her touch ended and mine began,
 but now oceans apart are a must, bridges made by children sewn together by unconditional love
