Stuck
I love you with a love
that is endless.
But more so, it is
quite senseless.
For you could never
fully love me,
Or give your heart
to me wholly.
Because you will never
end what is already dead;
With that man with whom
you share a bed.
You may love him, but you
are no longer in love,
That ended long ago if you truly
take a thought of.
When did your love die?
That's the day your heart cried.
The day that it longer raced
when you saw his face.
The day that within it,
he forever lost his place.
You keep holding
on for the children:
And some full,
yet empty building.
You are afraid that
If you leave; the things
other's will believe.
When you know that
you are slowly dying;
each day to everyone
you are lying,
You put on a happy face,
to try to prove the case.
That you can live this lie;
each day harder, harder to try.
If you could just let go;
Leave...and in my heart believe.
You would once again know love,
not just a feeling you reminisce of.
To feel the passion of a simple kiss,
To once again have someone to miss,
To know above all else; you are loved,
with no one placed above,
This love we could share;
If you could only leave
the one for whom
you no longer care.
that is endless.
But more so, it is
quite senseless.
For you could never

Or give your heart
