How Long Will the Tribulation Last?

By "the Tribulation" I mean the time in which Russia will rule the world.  
Russia's rule is brought to an end by the Appearing of the Messiah(Zechariah 14.1-4,7)  
Which is also the Second Coming of Christ(2 Thessalonians 2.7-8).  
 
How long will the Tribulation last?  
"3 1/2 years" according to Daniel 7.25 and Revelation 13.5.  
But Christ promised He would "shorten the days"(Matthew 24.22).  
"For the sake of the Elect, otherwise no flesh would be left."  
"The Elect" means the believers, the Church in Russia, China.
(I'll explain at the end.)
 
So we can safely THROW OUT the 3 1/2 years!  
Without being presumptuous!  
This means it (the "3 1/2 years") was NEVER the true length  
Of the Tribulation Period,only a place-holder, a substitute,  
Only a cover, a decoy for the actual hidden length of time!  
 
I have looked for a shorter time period that would fit,  
The "5 months" (Revelation 9.5,10) presented itself!  
The context does fit the Tribulation Period.  
The Trib will be a time when Europe will be under "occupation"  
By Russian troops and battle tanks.  
That's what conquerors do, they occupy seized territory.  
Unlike war, occupation is when people are not so much killed, as oppressed.  
We read,"People will want to die, but death will flee from them"(Rev 9.5-6).  
This describes the feeling of nations occupied by Russian troops.  
 
What are the "Locusts..with iron breastplates.."?  
"Their [sides] make the sounds of chariots running to battle"(Rev 9.9).  
Battle tanks would come close enough.  
For they are the modern equivalent of war chariots.  
 
Finally, for the "scorpion tails"(Rev 9.10).  
Mobile artillery vehicles look like tanks but are larger.  
Their gun turrets are much larger and longer.  
Instead of rising up from the top of the mid section of the tank,  
They rise up, pointing forward, from the very rear of the tank.  
The gun turret looks like a tail pointing forward.  
That's just what s scorpion's tail does.  
 
Yes, these "locusts..of iron.." are Russian tanks occupying Western Europe!  
That the occupation lasts only for "5 months"(Rev 95,10) is good news,  
A very SHORT Tribulation, what an improvement over the longer one!  
 
"5 months" is long enough (1)for Russia to Sovietize Europe,  
(2)for all nations to send troops (in response to Russian demands)  
to participate in the invasion of Israel, the socalled "liberation of Palestine"  
(Ezekiel 38-39; Zechariah 14.1-4; Daniel 11.41-45);
(3)for Christ to Appear as the invasion of Israel begins(Zechariah 14.1-4).  
 
Finally, "5 months" fits the Russia-China war that would be about to begin.
It would be sure to follow  Russia's depriving China
of its two top trading partners:America and Europe!  
China would think like this in response to Russia's attack on the West,  
"Better for us to attack Russia now,rather than later when Russia would be ready."  
 
But Christ intervenes, sparing the Church ("the Elect") in Russia and China  
The great suffering that would go with an all-out Russia-China nuclear war!!
